Ranieri Praises Arsenal Ahead Of The Emirates Cup
The Bianconeri will take on Arsenal and Hamburg over the next two days and it will be an important test for them as they prepare for the Champions League.
Ranieri is looking forward to the tournament but he is wary of the opposition and he was full of praise for Arsenal in particular.
“Not everyone will be able to play two games in 24 hours,” the coach told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
“A different team will be playing on Sunday because I am interested in giving the players minutes on the pitch.
“Arsenal can teach us plenty on how to get the best young players from around the world.
“It’s a politic which has paid off up until now and I compliment them.
“The Gunners have more experience than us in the Champions League as we haven’t been involved in that competition for two years.
“Hamburg also has international experience and we are here to bridge the gap. We are not worried about the result but we want to do well.”
Ranieri’s side clash with the Gunners at 4:15GMT on Saturday and then they face off with Hamburg at 14:00GMT on Sunday.
